INTERLEAF FLAP WHEELS AND ROLLS

These wheels are produced by using flap elements of non-woven abrasive materials alternated by abrasive paper or emery cloth flaps glued around a central fibre core.
They are produced in different grains, using both aluminium oxide and silicon carbide non-woven abrasive materials.
They are available in various dimensions and can be used on both automatic and semi-automatic machines.



APPLICATIONS

INTERLEAF FLAP WHEEL EMERY CLOTH+TBM

METAL

These wheels are particularly suitable for removal works or preparation to the finishing of satin on all types of metals.
Compared to the classic wheels made with only emery cloth, the mixed wheels allow a gentle removal action due to the combination with the TBM.
Another important advantage is that these wheels can be shaped.

WOOD AND PAINT

These wheels are used for raw sanding of wood and veneer wrapped work pieces.
Because of the particular emery cloth hardness, these wheels are more difficult to shape, so their suggested application is for flat or lightly shaped surfaces.

WOOD AND PAINT

These wheels are useful for many applications on both raw sanding of wood and veneer wrapped work pieces and buffing of UV, Acrylic (Water Base) solvent base paints, lacquers, undercoats and fillers.
The particular flexibility of the abrasive paper makes these wheels easily shaped, thus adapting easily to any profile.
